Located on a main tourist route right between the Auberges of France and England this enormous house of character dates back to the middle ages. There is one vaulted mill room with an original bakers oven, plus two other big rooms ( 50m2 + each ), a huge courtyard seating up to 40 Pax, original Maltese tiles throughout the building, a Garrigor, 2 wells, several toilets, many side rooms, ample of storage space, office etc. The hostel has recently been refurbished, all water and electricity is new, fully tiled kitchen, grease trap, stainless steel countertops, 10 fridges and freezers, A/C in the downstairs area, ceiling fans etc. etc. We are well established, 4000 likes on FB, mentioned in several printed guides ( Rough Guide Malta, Lonely Planet Malta etc. ) and have been operational since 2002. Right now the hostel is owner run but could be rented out ( Premium 45 000 plus 75 Euro a day ) Included in the price is a 120 m2 Penthouse with it’s own entrance and it’s own address. It consists of a small entrance at ground floor – a very charming bedroom ( 40m2) with 6 meter high ceilings on the second floor and an open plan kitchen / dining / living room plus another smaller bedroom (total of 80m2)with a well sized terrace overlooking the courtyard on the third floor. It comes with toilets on each level, underfloor heating, solar water heater, fully insulated with double glazed windows etc. It has been used as an art studio so small cosmetically changes are needed ( maybe Parquet flooring and a paint job ). On top one finds a 70m2 roof with harbor views.
